The need
Individual studios keep different visiting hours. Visitors need a clearer way to find artists who are open, and artists need a quick way to keep that information current.
My contribution
I designed and built the app for Western Avenue Studios & Lofts as a pro bono project, connecting the needs of artists updating their availability with visitors navigating the studios.
What I designed
and built
- A public artist directory with studio and loft information, contact links, and availability.
- Search, status filtering, and sorting to help visitors find the right studio.
- An artist sign-in experience and a simple open or closed status update.

experience
Artists can keep their studio status current, while visitors can see which studios are open and find the information they need to plan a visit. The public directory is live.
The client’s supplied account describes the app in use. The live visitor interface was also verified. Counts visible in the screenshot are a moment in time, not adoption or impact claims.
